Episode 12: Developmental Psychologist Turned Coach with Dr. Sasha Heinz

For some women the true struggle with burnout stems from the knowledge that they put themselves in that position. That’s how Dr. Sasha Heinz felt. She had pushed so hard for so long that when she realized she was completely depleted and had no one but herself to blame, it felt like a sticking point for moving forward.

Which is when she started to realize that her sticking point was an area of work that she needed to tackle. After finally reaching the pinnacle and receiving her doctorate but not feeling the joy that should have come with it, she started her burnout work.

Her goal was always to become a coach. Helping other people make impactful change in their lives was extremely important to her. So she began to do her own work and it has made her an even stronger coach.

Listen as she shares her story and how she continues to approach and battle burnout. There’s a reason we have to go through our struggles. Just remember to take a step back once you’re through and see what there was to learn.

There is so much power in witnessing other people’s experiences so that you recognize everyone has the same affliction and that is that we have a human brain and there is nothing wrong with you.
